What does a Property Inspection Specialist with Paul Davis do? 
A Property Inspection Specialist is responsible for traveling to and from residential and commercial property to assist clients and customers with the initial inspection and scope for repair and restoration of their home or business due to damage from water, fire, wind, storm, or mold loss. The Property Inspection Specialist are expected to accurately determine the project scope for the desk estimator to develop an estimate to complete project. In this role, the Property Inspection Specialist will build relationships with insurance professionals and communicate with property owners regarding the scope and estimation process. The Property Inspection Specialist will be the first point of contact for all matters related to initial inspection including but not limited to the Matterport screening, the scope, and all photos required for estimation processing. The main objective is to provide exceptional customer service and extraordinary care while honoring our core values of integrity, positive attitude, sense of urgency, communication with purpose, commitment to learn, and pride in work.

Requirements: 
  • Inspect, evaluate, and document damaged properties 
  • Ability to use Matterport camera once properly trained
  • Work safely in residential and commercial damaged properties  
  • Determine and define project scope and objectives 
  • Understanding of the residential and commercial construction process 
  • Communicate with insurance companies, vendors, customers to ensure progress is communicated to all parties 
  • Maintain proper metrics pertaining to program compliance including but not limited to site visit, estimate upload, etc.  
  • Ensure completion of all compliance tasks and job milestones in a timely manner  
  • High focus on job requirements and program guidelines to ensure proper timeline completion 
  • Manage relationships and communicate with customers, insurance companies, and others 
  • Provide project scope updates on a consistent basis to ensure all progress is communicated 
  • Focus and dedication to provide exceptional customer service  
  • Continual desire to learn new things 
  • High level performance of project estimation 
  • Maintain a clean, properly stocked, and organized vehicle and maintain all company equipment 
  • Assist other team members when opportunities arise and be a leader  
  • Valid driver's license with a clean record 
  • Ability to pass a criminal background check 
  • Availability to work nights, weekends, and overtime as needed 
  • Ability to work long hours and maintain a positive attitude
